Being part of a grass roots movement is hard work, especially if you're a board or committee member. So why do it? Because the fate of our great nation is at stake. We are fighting a large scale and very fierce battle against the forces of godlessness and liberalism. America, a nation founded on Godly principles, America where our children and grandchildren will grow up is the prize. America is what we are fighting for. 

In the summer of 04' I formed an organization called Blairsville4Bush.com. With the help of willing people like you, and God's grace, we saw great results. Our pro-life, pro-family president was re-elected, and his support in Union County, GA increased by 7 points over 2000. But, I knew the work would not end there. There is still much to be done. Abortion is still legal, traditional marriage is not yet safe, and our religious liberties are being trampled in the court rooms and in the schools. 

A recent incident in White County, Georgia, that most of you have probably heard about reinforced the need for this organization. A teacher and a student applied to have a Gay-Straight Alliance Club formed at White County Highschool. A troublemaking church out of Kansas heard about it and after sending letters to the school and elsewhere, condemning the forming of the club, they descended on White County with hate filled slogans. They not only picketed the school but the surrounding churches who they labeled as whores for tolerating the formation of the club. This church’s website can be seen at: godhatesfags.com, or godhatesamerica.com if you so desire. The Churches in the area were so afraid to be mixed up with “the haters” that they did not get involved and did nothing. The end result was that a hate filled group was the only voice of protest and they did way more harm than good. This made me realize that we have to have a regional organization in the to deal with issues in an organized, effective and Christian way.

The goal of ConservativeCountry.org is to return the power to the people where it belongs. America is a Christian nation and we've got to take it back. Our government must be accountable to us. Politicians are easily influenced by public outcry because their jobs depend on it. We must not be silent in this time of need. If we are united and seek God, I have faith that we will move mountains!
